Staff member forgot to clock out on the same day and only clocked out on the following day or a couple of days later, which is why the recorded hours are so long.
To check this, click on the entry and then click the "Show history" button. This will display the exact clock-in and clock-out times.
To fix it, confirm with the staff member when they actually finished work, then edit the end time accordingly. Alternatively, you can discard the incorrect entry and create a new one with a note.
